Room Rental Information

The Steve Ballmer Building has several event spaces and rooms available for rental. Room information can be found below or by downloading the event brochure.

GIX Commons

  • Description: Event space equipped with a lectern, projector, two screens, a camera for live stream, and option for handheld or lapel microphones. Furniture may be reconfigured – please inquire for details.

  • Description: Event space designed for a large meeting, workshop, presentation, or panel discussion, with two monitors, one projector with screen, a microphone, a dry-erase wall, and whiteboards.

  • Capacity: 72
  • Description: Classroom with desks in pods of four or six, two monitors, one projector with screen, a microphone, a dry-erase wall, and white boards.

Additional Information

  • All rooms are equipped with an audio visual system.
  • Complimentary garage parking may be available for your guests. Please inquire for additional details.
  • Renters must notify GIX if food or beverages will be served at the event.
  • There is a 2-hour minimum for all room rentals.
  • Weekend Rate: In addition to events on Saturday or Sunday, the weekend rate is applied for any event hours that take place before 8:30am or after 6:00pm Monday-Friday.
  • The following additional fees may be applied:
    • $65 cleaning fee for trash or messes left in event spaces/rooms. To avoid this fee, please be sure to clean up after your event and dispose of garbage in the appropriately provided receptacles.
    • $170 janitorial fee for events with catering taking place on a Friday or Saturday.
