Event + Space Rental

Coronavirus update (March 16, 2020): We are not accepting new space rental requests at this time. We will review requests for events after March 30, subject to approval based on public health guidance and policies of the state of Washington and the UW. Thank you for your understanding while we navigate this unique circumstance together. 

The Steve Ballmer Building in Bellevue, Washington has several event spaces and rooms available for rental.

 

Space rentals

GIX is located in Bellevue’s Spring District. Free guest parking is available.

Rates below apply to Monday-Friday rentals between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. There is an additional charge for hours outside of standard times and on Saturdays and Sundays.

GIX Commons

  • Capacity: 210
  • Description: Event space equipped with a lectern, projector, two screens, a camera for live stream, and option for handheld or lapel microphones. Furniture may be reconfigured – please inquire for details.
  • Standard rate: $260/hr
  • Outside business hours: $300/hr

Room 127

  • Capacity: 70
  • Description: Classroom with moveable rectangular tables, a projector with screen, camera for live stream, a microphone, white board, and a presentation desk.
  • Standard rate: $160/hr
  • Outside business hours: $185/hr

Room 143

  • Capacity: 10
  • Description: Conference room with one monitor, a camera for live stream, Polycom telephone system, and a dry-erase wall.
  • Standard rate: $80/hr
  • Outside business hours: $95/hr

Room 145

  • Capacity: 20
  • Description: Conference room with two monitors, a camera for live stream, Polycom telephone system, and a dry-erase wall.
  • Standard rate: $100/hr
  • Outside business hours: $115/hr

  • Description: Classroom with eight round tables and seating for 56, eight monitors, a camera for live stream, four white boards, and a presentation desk.

  • Description: Classroom with 70 desks in pods of four, two monitors and one 84” Surface Hub, a dry-erase wall, and white boards.
  • Standard rate: $160/hr

  • Description: Event space designed for a large meeting, workshop, presentation, or panel discussion, with two monitors, one projector with screen, a microphone, a dry-erase wall, and whiteboards.
  • Standard rate: $200/hr
  • Outside business hours: $230/hr

Room 240

  • Capacity: 72
  • Description: Classroom with desks in pods of four or six, two monitors, one projector with screen, a microphone, a dry-erase wall, and white boards.
  • Standard rate: $160/hr
  • Outside business hours: $185/hr

Additional Information

  • All rooms are equipped with an audio visual system.
  • Complimentary garage parking may be available for your guests. Please inquire for additional details.
  • Renters must notify GIX if food or beverages will be served at the event.
  • There is a 2-hour minimum for all room rentals.
  • Rates above apply to Monday-Friday rentals between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. There is an additional charge for hours outside of standard times and on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • The following additional fees may be applied:
    • $65 cleaning fee for trash or messes left in event spaces/rooms. To avoid this fee, please be sure to clean up after your event and dispose of garbage in the appropriately provided receptacles.
    • $170 janitorial fee for events with catering taking place on a Friday or Saturday.
