Our Global Network

Founded by the  partners the University of Washington, Tsinghua University, and Microsoft, GIX is a global collaboration between leading academic and cross-sector partners.

To date, GIX includes eight Academic Network members, six Consortium members, and one supporting partner.

Academic Network: 
The Academic Network creates and supports innovative programs, opportunities, and collaborations that leverage the GIX model and each institution’s expertise, resources, and networks. Learn more about the academic network.

Consortium Members:
We partner with top organizations and nonprofits in the Seattle area to forge long-term relationships that lead to technical exchange, co-invention, and collaboration. Consortium members gain access to the GIX community, and may submit projects for students in the final phase of the curriculum.
